gaaaaaaaa!

How could I possibly have forgotten to post! I mean, I finished chapter 12 half way through last week, but I forgot to post it! *face palm* Well, here it is!

A series of breakthroughs in the wrong order.

Alright, so I figure it's about time for an update. I kinda ran into a block with the typing, so I wound up hand writing a lot, which is great! Until I realized that I kinda skipped over two chapters and was just writing what came to me. But hey, look on the bright side! If I know where I'm going it'll be easy to fill in the blanks. Of course, with what I have written, I'm afraid some of you might hate me. You'll understand why once I finish them and get them published here.

What's worse! I've been strongly inspired to write what happens later in the story... like book 4. So, problems staying focused. I've got this. I've got this. Um... Yeah, I should have chapter 11 up by this Saturday, seeing as how I've been catching up to my buffer. Of course, that means I probably won't have any new Pocketful of Pain stuff up until I reach chapter 20 of Hard Bank Left - which is where I promised myself I'd stop publishing here. Interestingly enough, I'm pretty darn close to having chapter 20 written. There's a lot that happens, but at the same time, it's mostly travel. I'm going to leave it at that. I don't want to give anything away! ;D

Update!

Well, recently, I've been finding that it's getting easier and easier to write these chapters. It's like the words just flow out. And if I though the characters were writing themselves before, then I didn't know what I was saying, because at the moment Krys is an emotional wreck and she won't tell me - that's right, me... the writer! - why.

Mind you, I also feel like the last few chapters - though I have all the events there - have been lacking somewhat. So, comments, questions, concerns, etc, would be much appreciated. I just feel like Krys and JelDhen have both been a little vague since the whole 'Krys catching on fire' thing. Ideas on how to improve would be nice. Mind you, all of a sudden, in chapter 10, Krys and JelDhen are being a lot less cryptic. But still, this is a first draft and there are many, many, MANY kinks to be worked out.

Also, I have finally reached chapter 10! Woohoo! However, this also means that I shall be taking a break from posting my chapters until I can get a buffer going. I know, sad daze, but hey! There are still 10 chapters to read for those of you who haven't read yet. And, you can rest assured that I will have more chapters up soon. I mean, I already have the beginnings of the next 6 chapters written. Now! Just to finish them!

Chapter 10 will be up on Saturday at or before 12:30 am! Looking forward to the feedback!

A special surprise

Okay, so Hard Bank Left isn't my only project in the Shadow Cast realm. I have another story, one that prefaces Hard Bank Left but doesn't give anything away.

The story is staring one Maria Leraunt, a ballerina dancing in the Paris Opera during the German occupation of France. If you love vampires, you won't be disappointed. Though, I doubt you've seen anything like these.

News!

So, for those of you that have been following for a while (which means, people that have read this in the last... month?) I have finally opened a tumblr account so that I can stash all of the pictures I've been posting without cluttering up the story area! And, seeing as how the story was the original point behind this entire blog, I think it'll help smooth thing up quite a bit.

Also, I have started working on a wikia. Hopefully it won't be total crap. It seems like fun, besides I'll be able to flush things out and explain a bit and possibly get feedback. However, be warned, the wikia is going to have spoilers. So, if you're interested in keeping the story a secret and guessing as you go, avoid looking up plot type things.
